Welcome to Formi Studios. We want everyone who visits us to have a safe, enjoyable and positive experience. By booking a class, purchasing a class pack or membership, or attending Formi Studios, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

1. Bookings & Payments

All classes must be booked and paid for in advance through our booking system.

Your booking is confirmed once payment has been successfully received.

Please ensure that you select the correct class, date and time when booking. Formi Studios cannot guarantee that spaces will be available if you need to change your booking.

Class prices, memberships and offers may change from time to time. Any price changes will be communicated to members where applicable.

2. Cancellation Policy

We operate a 12-hour cancellation policy.

If you cancel your class 12 hours or more before the scheduled start time, your class credit will be returned to your account.

If you cancel within 12 hours of the class, or do not attend your booked class, your class credit will be forfeited.

Late cancellations and no-shows are treated in the same way regardless of the reason for cancellation, including illness, changes to plans or unforeseen circumstances.

We appreciate that unexpected circumstances can happen. However, applying the same policy consistently allows us to operate fairly and ensures that spaces are available to other clients.

3. Minimum Class Attendance

To ensure that classes are viable for our small studio and instructors, classes require a minimum of 3 participants to go ahead.

If a class does not reach the minimum number of bookings, Formi Studios reserves the right to cancel the class.

Where possible, we will provide at least 4 hours' notice if a class needs to be cancelled due to low attendance.

If Formi Studios cancels a class, your class credit will be returned to your account or an alternative arrangement will be offered.

4. Class Packs & Introductory Offers

Class packs and introductory offers are subject to the expiry dates shown at the time of purchase.

Class packs are intended for the individual who purchased them and cannot be transferred to another person unless agreed by Formi Studios.

Introductory offers are intended for new clients only and may only be purchased once per person.

Promotional offers cannot be combined with other discounts unless expressly stated.

Class packs are non-refundable once purchased, except where required by law or at the discretion of Formi Studios.

5. Memberships

Memberships are recurring monthly subscriptions and will automatically renew unless cancelled in accordance with the membership terms.

Memberships provide the number of classes stated in the membership purchased. Unused classes do not automatically roll over into the following month unless specifically agreed by Formi Studios.

Memberships are personal to the member and cannot be transferred to another person.

Membership cancellations must be made in accordance with the notice period applicable to your membership.

If a membership payment fails, Formi Studios reserves the right to suspend access to membership benefits until payment has been successfully received.

Membership terms, prices and benefits may be updated from time to time. Members will be notified of any significant changes.

6. Arriving for Class

Please arrive 5–10 minutes before your class where possible.

If you arrive late, you may not be permitted to join the class if the instructor considers it unsafe or disruptive to do so.

If you arrive too late to safely participate, this may be treated as a late cancellation and your class credit may be forfeited.

7. Health & Safety

You are responsible for informing your instructor before class of any injury, medical condition, pregnancy, recent surgery or other circumstances that may affect your ability to exercise safely.

You should seek appropriate medical advice before participating in exercise if you are unsure whether Pilates is suitable for you.

You must follow your instructor's instructions throughout the class and use the equipment appropriately.

If you experience pain, dizziness, discomfort or feel unwell during a class, you should stop exercising and inform your instructor immediately.

Formi Studios reserves the right to refuse participation where we reasonably believe that taking part may be unsafe.

8. Pregnancy & Postpartum

If you are pregnant or recently postpartum, please inform Formi Studios and your instructor before participating in a class.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have appropriate medical clearance where necessary and for informing your instructor of any relevant restrictions or recommendations provided by your healthcare professional.

Exercises may be modified or substituted to ensure they are appropriate for you.

Formi Studios does not provide medical advice and our classes are not intended to replace advice from your doctor, midwife, physiotherapist or other healthcare professional.

9. Studio Rules

To ensure that everyone has an enjoyable experience, we ask that all clients:

• Follow the instructions of the instructor.

• Treat studio equipment and facilities with care.

• Wear appropriate clothing for exercise.

• Wear grip socks when using the reformers.

• Keep phones on silent during classes.

• Respect instructors and fellow clients.

• Do not intentionally disrupt a class.

• Do not use equipment in a way that has not been instructed or permitted.

• Inform an instructor if you are unsure how to use any equipment.

Formi Studios reserves the right to ask anyone who behaves inappropriately, aggressively or disrespectfully to leave the studio.

10. Personal Belongings

Please keep personal belongings with you or in the designated storage areas provided.

Formi Studios cannot accept responsibility for personal belongings that are lost, stolen or damaged while at the studio, except where we are legally responsible.

11. Classes & Instructors

Formi Studios may occasionally need to change an instructor, class time, class format or studio location due to circumstances including instructor illness, availability or other operational reasons.

We will provide as much notice as reasonably possible where changes occur.

A change of instructor does not automatically entitle a client to a refund or class credit.

Formi Studios reserves the right to make reasonable changes to class content, equipment or structure to ensure the safety and enjoyment of clients.

12. Cancellations by Formi Studios

In the unlikely event that Formi Studios needs to cancel a class, clients will be notified as soon as reasonably possible.

Where a class is cancelled by Formi Studios, the affected class credit will be returned to the client's account or an alternative arrangement will be offered.

We will not be responsible for additional costs or expenses incurred by clients as a result of a class cancellation, except where required by law.

13. Photography & Filming

From time to time, Formi Studios may take photographs or videos within the studio for marketing and social media purposes.

We will seek appropriate consent before using identifiable images of clients for marketing purposes.

If you do not wish to appear in Formi Studios marketing content, please let a member of the team know.

Clients must not photograph or film other clients without their permission.

14. Liability

We take reasonable steps to ensure that our studio, equipment and classes are operated safely.

However, participation in physical exercise carries inherent risks, including the possibility of injury.

By participating in classes, you acknowledge that you are responsible for exercising within your own abilities and following the instructions provided by your instructor.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude or limit any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable UK law.

15. Refunds

Except where required by law, payments for classes, class packs, memberships and promotional offers are non-refundable once purchased.

Where Formi Studios cancels a class, the relevant class credit will be returned or an appropriate alternative will be offered.

If you believe you are entitled to a refund under applicable consumer law, please contact us and we will consider your request fairly.

16. Promotions & Offers

From time to time, Formi Studios may offer promotional prices, introductory offers, referral schemes or other promotions.

Each promotion may have its own specific terms, including eligibility, expiry dates and restrictions.

Formi Studios reserves the right to withdraw or amend a promotion where reasonably necessary, subject to any rights you may have under applicable law.

17. Conduct

We want Formi Studios to be a welcoming environment for everyone.

We do not tolerate abusive, threatening, discriminatory or inappropriate behaviour towards our clients, instructors, staff or other members of the Formi community.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate a client's access to the studio where their behaviour is considered inappropriate or where they repeatedly breach these Terms & Conditions.

18. Privacy & Personal Information

We collect and process personal information in accordance with applicable UK data protection legislation.

Please refer to our Privacy Policy for information about how we collect, use and protect your personal information.

19. Changes to These Terms

We may occasionally update these Terms & Conditions to reflect changes to our services, policies or legal requirements.

The most recent version will be available on our website and will include the date it was last updated.

Where a significant change affects your existing membership or booking, we will provide appropriate notice where required.

20. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes will be dealt with in accordance with applicable UK consumer protection legislation.
